RHA Public Housing Waiting List

The Rockingham Housing Authority (RHA) provides affordable public housing and housing assistance programs for low-income families, individuals, seniors, and persons with disabilities. We have 225 public housing units and administer 65 housing choice vouchers that house over 550 residents of the City of Rockingham.

The Rockingham Housing Authority will be opening its public housing waiting list to new applicants effective May 15, 2023. You can apply on line by clicking here. 

Applications are available to be picked up at our office located 809 Armstead Street, Rockingham, NC 28379. Monday - Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you need an application mailed to you, please contact Tiffany Mowry at (910) 997-3316, extension 1 or by emailing her at thorne@rhanc.com

If you would like to apply in person, applications are taken on Thursday's, beginning May 18, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
